按：中国商人操纵仰光省省长获得大开发项目的风波尚未平息，曼德勒房地产价格疯涨又将对中国人的警惕推上浪尖。中缅关系一年比一年事多。
房地产经纪反映，今年中国人涌进曼德勒省的房地产市场，他们的投资推动价格高涨令缅甸人被赶出曼德勒市中心。
移民与国民登记部的数据显示，自向外国投资开放以来，每个月都有上千持工作签证的外国人涌入缅甸，其中大部分是中国人。
中国投资者已经进入了珠宝和油气行业，现在则投资于曼德勒房地产市场。据当地房地产经纪人反映，中国富商可能参与了大部分知名房地产交易。
“本地房地产市场多年前就已掌握在中国人手中。没人说得出这些亿万交易背后的人是谁。这些日子这种大合同已成家常便饭。我认为房地产业价格飞涨的根源就在这里。缅甸国民在城区拥有的地块越来越少，许多本地人已经搬到了城郊。”一位当地经纪人说。
Chanayethazan镇居民Khine Thazin同意这种说法：“从前每座公寓楼里中国人住户不过三四个，但现在变了。有的房子关着门，门上贴着中文告示。我担心曼德勒将变成中国的一个省。”
本地居民要求调查房地产交易，查明资金的来源。
“由于曼德勒地区只能向南扩展，一些中国人便提前购买曼德勒南角的地块和农田。有的合同用真名签署，有的则用缅甸国民的名字签署。我听说他们大部分不是曼德勒本地人。Taungthaman湖东面村庄的地价已经从几百万缅元涨到了几亿缅元。”Amarapura一位居民说。中国人开的宾馆、饭店和酒馆数量也在增加。

移民部的Thaung Zaw说：“只有缅甸国民才有权购买房地产。外国人连租房都不允许。”
他又补充说，但曼德勒的中国人大多缅语流利，易于伪装成缅甸人。
“相关部门正在对签证过期的中国人、与缅甸妇女结婚的中国人和在国内犯罪后逃入缅甸的中国人采取行动。要求人民向当局举报非法中国移民。那些容留非法中国移民的人将按移民法论刑。”Thaung Zaw说。
他还说，当局每月都在提醒包括中国人在内的外国人遵守签证规则，提高了对外国人活动的警惕。持商务签证入境的外国人允许停留70天，得到相关部的推荐三次续期可停留一年。

with placards lettered in Chinese. I’m afraid Mandalay will become
a province of China.”

business owner said.

the right to acquire property. The foreigners can’t even rent a

import-export business in the Muse-Kyel Gaung border area said
money was flowing between&mainland Chinese and
ethnic Chinese citizens of Myanmar.&
“The local
entrepreneurs import a number of motorcycles with an import license
but do not repay all the money at once. After that, the Chinese
from the mainland buy jade stones, houses and plots of land in
Mandalay [through the local Chinese],” he said.
