目前，湖北省小麦已进入收割的关键时期，据农情调度，截止到5月25日，已收割427.58万亩，占小麦总面积1495.02万亩的28.6％。有的地方收割进度较快，如宜昌、孝感已分别收割80％、90％，小麦主产区襄樊收割进度相对较慢，只占5.5％。预计再有10天，小麦基本上能够全部收割完毕。&&&&
从已收割小麦的情况看，小麦丰收已成定局，单产基本与5月中旬的测产相符合，预计全省小麦单产达到224公斤，比上年提高5公斤，总产达到334.24万吨，比上年增加5.05万吨不成问题。&&&&
