　　知识点分析　　due to　　Due to可以用attributed to或caused by替代来权衡逻辑上是否合理，其次due to，similar to，differing
from等有形容词性质的介词，GMAT中一般不能出现在句首。　　aeoluseros补充说明：　　1)due to一般作为复杂介词与owing
to同义。然而有些人认为due在该组合中是形容词，因此反对下句中的用法，因为它违背了无动词分句的依附规则：　　Due to bad weather, classes have been cancelled today.　　那些人认为下句是可以的：Cancellation of classes today is due to bad weather.　　由于GMAT语法的严格性，due to也不应该被放在句首。　　2)due to有attribute, caused by的意思。　　Due to means"cause by". It shoud only be used if it can be substitued with
"caused by".　　It doed not mean the same thing as "because of",　　Incorrect: The game was postponed due to rain.　　Correct: The game was postponed because of rain.　　Correct: The game's postponement was due to rain.　　2、with打头的独立主格;　　语法点分析：with引导的独立主格　　形式：with +名词(代词)+ 形容词、副词、介词短语、过去分词、现在分词、不定式　　独立部分与主句有紧密的逻辑关系　　3、 几种比较，例如compare contrast comparison 的固定搭配;　　语法点分析：比较的固定搭配　　1、compare　　1) compared with直接跟在逗号后面可以修饰逗号前面名词短语的核心词：　　Example：　　In the United States, while the number of foreign-born residents and their
children is higher than ever, the percentage of the population they represent is
in 1910 this group made up 35 percent of the population, compared with 20
percent in 2000.　　2) Compared with也可以修饰前面整个分句，compared with后面的名词与主语比较：　　Example:　　u Today, more than 43 percent of Californians under the age of eighteen are
Hispanic, compared with about 35 percent a decade ago.　　u In the United States, Fifty-two percent of high school graduates go on to
college, compared with thirty-five percent in Canada and fifteen percent in
Great Britain, Japan, and West Germany.　　u One baby in four is now born to a mother aged thirty or older, compared
with just one in six in 1975.　　3) as compared to/with中as指代前面整句的核心含义：　　A recent review of pay scales indicates that, on average, CEO's now earn
419 times the pay of blue-collar workers, as compared to 42 times their pay, the
ratio in 1980.　　2、Unlike/like 前后连接的结构要对称平行　　拓展：　　contrary to：一般接抽象名词(ideas, opinions, or actions)，在句首的时候不需要逻辑主语　　in contrast with：后面接具体名词和抽象名词都可以(a difference between people, ideas,
situations, things etc)，要求平行　　Unlike/like：可接抽象名词和具体名词，需要平行　　Similar=like，different from=unlike，但是similar to和different from一般不可放在句首　　3、comparison　　不可数名词 comparison with　　可数名词 comparisons of A to/with B comparisons between A and B　　By/in comparison with sb/sth　　4、connect to/　　语法点分析：connect to/with　　5、considered 放句首+逗号+SVO的结构;
