1、试金炉与灰吹炉&
试金用的高温灰吹炉，一般称马弗炉，各国资料均作了一定的介绍，有一定的技术要求。文献[22]指出，&灰吹炉&一种马弗炉型的炉子，这种炉子应具有使空气流通的进气口和出气口，最好能使空气预热并能使其稳定地通过，炉温能均匀地由室温加热到1100
℃。据南非资料介绍，其化验室使用的试金炉在放置灰皿时可以一次完成，向灰皿中放置铅扣也是如此，灰吹完成后全部灰皿可以一下子取出来。
2、天平和砝码&
火试金分析法是质量分析法，对试金天平的要求比较严格。早期的日本双臂摆动式试金天平，最大称量为1-2g，对砝码有更加严格的要求，要使用铂铱合金制作。我国各地试金分析室大都使用称量20g，感量0.01mg的精密分析天平，不少单位已使用感量为0.001mg的精密分析天平。天平和砝码要求经常校正，根据工作量的大小，其检校周期以一个月或一个季度为宜。
对试金分析专用的分金篮，各国都有特定的规定。日本用铂金或瓷盘制作；前苏联用铂金制作；印度用铂金或石英框架，是由许多小套筒组成，这些小套筒是以铂框架为依托的多孔铂杯或以熔融石英框架为依托的多孔熔融石英杯；我国的试金分析室采用铂金或不锈钢板材制作。
4、灰皿机和碾片机
国内外对于灰皿机和碾片机大都没有提出明确的要求，只是要求在制作灰皿时，要使灰皿的成型压力一致，在碾片时要使金银合金片成型一致，以避免因此而增大分析误差。
