Some people claim that it is their freedom to use tobacco while others think tobacco should be classified into illegal drugs. To what extent do you agree with using tobacco?

Since the discovery of tobacco related to a number of health problems, an increasing number of people have called for prohibiting smoking. It is undeniable that still a considerable amount of smokers exist in this world. I would like to examine the advantages and disadvantages of smoking cigarettes as following and then offer my own opinion.

There are some advantages to taking tobacco.(topic sentence) First, tobacco industry contributes a great proportion of revenue to the nation. Extremely high taxation imposed on tobacco yielding and cigarette manufacturing has released the financial burden for both the government and the individual taxpayer generation by generation. Second, the soothing effects of smoking has been confirmed particularly those who have hard-brain-working job they claim that smoking cigarettes can make them calm and stimulate brain cells to work more efficiently. Finally, cigarettes play an important role in social activities.

On the other hand, smoking demonstrates numerous negative effects.(topic sentence) Initially, nicotine may bring takers a number of diseases. Second-hand smoking also does harm to your health. Moreover, hatred from non-smokers always grow against smokers hence some conflicts arise frequently. We then look at the statistics showing that thousands of fire accidents worldwide occur each year due to the litter of non-extinguished cigarette ends, not to mention the related deaths and losses. Last but not least, expenses have to be taken into consideration. Fine cigarettes are not cheap. If you get addicted to them, your daily amount of cigarette consumption will increase inevitably, emptying your pocket money.

After all, the above demerits and merits of using tobacco cannot possibly justify tobacco being listed as illegal drugs such as cocaine and heroin, which can extremely affect the nervous system hence to ruin a person's health very soon as well as to rise crim I suggest more restricted smoking areas be planned so as not to violate non-smokers' rights.

????a recent report showing a 14-year-old child has killed her grandmother. the incident itself is very stunning to the public. just as shown in the topic, crimes are not supposed to be done by younger people who are not legally responsible for what they did. what seems urgent for us is my appeals for those parents who should take the responsibility for any thing like this which should be prevented in advance.( 72)
????the most sounding reason for this is child should be supervised not only by school but also by his direct custody?ahis parents. no matter what blame we could put on child who has limited awareness of knowing what is correct to do and what is not, parents are not free from the duty that is already endowed by the society to watch their kids growing healthily. moreover, parents inevitable duty to educate their kids, let them know more about legal issues and right behaviors which is their basic lesson for life. we could be sure a kid is a good kid without any discipline of their parents.
