It is the fist commerce pedestrian street in Guangzhou. Shang-xia-jiu Lu as an old street assembles Lingnan cultures of architecture, dining, and folk custom. This street developed early in Ming Dynasty. Before every Mid-autumn day, famous moon cakes all over city fly together to Shang-xia-jiu Lu. Compared to Beijng Road, you can find more Chinese traditional elements in this street.

Nong Lin Xia Lu Commerce Street
Nong Lin Xia Lu is the third commerce street in Guangzhou. It is the small brother of Shangxiajiu Lu and Beijng Lu. Nong Lin XIia Lu together with Shu Qian Lu and Gui Gang Dong Shan Lu is now gradually growing up and connect together. The government of Guangzhou intends to build these three into commerce center including dining, shopping and entertainment before year 2010. At that time, Nong Lin Xia Lu becomes business Shu Qian Lu is shopping and Gui Gang Lu becomes delicious food and touring services center.

This shopping street is a two-storied building underground covering 15000 square meters. Opened in 1999, it is the first shopping mall in Guangzhou directly connected with metro.
