DI don’t like getting up too early unless I have to. When you’re filming, you’ve got make-up on, which doesn’t happen often. As I’m not filming at present I’ll get up at 8.30. Work normally means Matt coming over to my house about 10 am. We’re writing at the moment. We’ll chat for a bit before going to my study. One of us will have an idea for a sketch (梗概), we’ll talk about the characters and when we feel we have enough we’ll start writing. Matt and I met at the National Youth Theatre in 1990 and started doing shows together in ’95, at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. When I’m not writing with Matt I work on other projects. My second children’s book comes out later in the year. It’s called Mr. Stink. The first one I dedicated to my three-year-old nephew, Eddie. Both books have been illustrated by Quentin B it’s been a thrill to work with him—like 20 years ago reading a Roald Dahl book and looking at those drawings, then one day that person illustrates your work… magical. At 5 I go swimming in Soho. My trainer makes me do horrible exercises, but I always feel better after.Being in all day, I like to go out in the evening and look smart, but not like I’ve come out of the City. I’m a tall, broad guy and well-dressed. For dinner I’ll meet friends. When you’re a single guy it’s great to have some good female friends. Or I might take my mum to the theatre, as I know she really appreciates it. I like watching TV comedy shows to see what everyone’s doing. When you see something impressive it makes you work harder. with all door money being donated to Buffalo Charities.

away Wednesday evening. She is now in a better place. (Being

took with you last year had to have the honor of sitting
on a table in our family room. We often teased her and referred
to you as her &boyfriend&. A few weeks ago, we
were able to take her to the casino - her favorite place
in the world - and before we left we listened to one set
of the band playing. We asked her if she liked them and
she said &OK - they're not Hit N Run! Just want to

Aud had about 10X the people I have seen when other bands
are there recently. It was nice to see that.
Mark, I've heard a lot of great things about you guys &
plan on getting out to see you as soon as I can. I just
wanted to put a bug in your ear concerning if you ever needed
a keyboard player. If something ever happens with your current
guy, I just wanted to give you my phone #/email address
in case you're interested. Our band isn't doing many shows
these days-only 2 per month, so I'm on the lookout for more
gigs, & I know Hit &n Run are really busy! I've
been playing the kind of music you guys play & I sing
lots of backup and a little lead. I have a really high falsetto,
which comes in handy on occasion! My main thing, keyboard-wise,
is to cover the tunes as close as I can-I'm a stickler for
exact replication, & especially enjoy getting the sounds
of other &non-keyboard& instruments, like horns,
strings, sound effects etc. And I try to be as active onstage
(as a keyboard player can!). Anyway, take care, thanks for

carnival! You guys really had 'em going and even the rain
didn't stop the party! I felt a little bad that you guys
had to deal with that insidious ground hum all night. But
again--it didn't curtail the crowd's enthusiasm one bit-nor
did you guys let on that it did. Very hard to deal with
things like that I know,but you were troopers. First time
I've been able to catch the band with Guy,Dan & your
new drummer (didn't catch his name). Great additions and
I loved all the variety! It's so cool to see any band playing
primarily classic rock doing as well as your band in this
day & age. All the different ages of folks out there
enjoying themselves really warms the heart of us--errr,'old
geysers'. LOL Just goes to prove that great songs are--great
songs. My band does alot of similar tunes,but I think we
perhaps stick more to the edgier stuff all night. Anyway--once
again,we had a great time and keep on rockin'!Take care,

Mark, We (The Patriot fans that come into Buffalo once a
year and see Hit n Run every year) are looking forward to
coming to Buffalo (from Mass) this weekend. We're going
to try our best to come by the gig on Saturday at Macaroons.
Hope the band is on it's 'A' game! If possible I'll try
to get your attention during a break and catch up. Really

to stop them from doing that but we were in rare form that
night and there was no stopping them. That was such a good

is no object! When I came back to buffalo after living 11
years in atlanta, ur band was the first band I saw....I
can't even describe how much fun u guys bring to the party!.
We will have 200 guests at our wedding and 80 percent of
them are from out of town. I can't wait to celebrate with
my friends and have them go home with such a memorable experience
of our friday night event with Hit N Run playing! Brett
and I had planned for the past two years to have u play
for our engagement party. Thus the wedding of my dreams
is around the corner. Anyway....I just wanted u to know
how much this means to us. OMG-i am sooo excited! Thank

Guy, Steve and I were busting on Mark and said if you ever
leave, we will stop seeing hit and run.
It seems at this point that we most likely will be doing
this event that weekend and would like you to be a part
of it. I'm sure we can work out an amount agreeable to both
of us for you running the beer tent. I will definitely have
a better handle on what we are doing and also the possibility
that we run the beer tent and you guys play for the 2 nights.
I would just ask that before you book at a grove or other
location, you definitely talk to us first. Would us running
the beer tent still be a viable option for you? Let me know.
