yes. you are right. the spelling is important even in the new case. you still have to know the spelling of a word to ensure that &the first and last letters of the word& are in the right places.

I could not believe that&&I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itsself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? yeah and I always thought spelling was important.
