云南昭通再发矿难瞒报事件 两名矿工窒息死亡
“齐新煤矿出事了，死了两个人，被煤矿私自处理了，一直没有上报矿难……”最近几天，此事在昭通市昭阳区被炒得沸沸扬扬。昨日，对于这个坊间传言，记者从昭通煤监分局最终得到权威证实，昭阳区小龙洞乡齐新煤矿矿主因涉嫌瞒报矿难，已被警方控制并接受相关调查。“事故发生后，齐新煤矿负责人并没有向相关部门报告，而是故意瞒报并私自处理了事故”。据介绍，4月29日上午，接到关于齐新煤瞒报4月20日下午3时许发生生产事故的举报后，昭阳区委、政府高度重视，立即向昭通市政府和相关部门汇报，迅速组织检察、公安、安监、煤监等相关部门组成该事故联合调查组，当日赶赴齐新煤矿，全面展开事故调查工作。随后查实，齐新煤矿“六证齐全”，生产目标是年产3万吨原煤，事发当时井下人员共有12人，瓦斯突出事故造成两名矿工窒息死亡。死者分别为负责该矿生产的贵州籍副矿长和一名昭通彝良县籍矿工。事故发生后，该矿快速处理了两名遇难者的善后工作，并给每位遇难者支付了70万元以上的丧葬费等费用。目前，该煤矿的相关责任人已被警方控制，事故原因正进一步调查中。
