1. 首先要在理解情景要求的基础上，对所写的内容进行构思。
2. 注意英语中某些特殊的书写格式。
3. 所写的情节要突出重点。
4. 注意不要用汉语思路去拼凑句子，尽量用你熟悉的句型。
5. 确保每词、每句在拼写和语法上正确。
“看图写话”是观察图画或照片,根据图画或照片的内容展开合理的想象来写文章。因此,看清画面、弄清图意,是看图作文的关键。学生要写好看图作文必须先从观察整个画面着手,重点注意背景、人物和具体细节,把正确理解画面的内容作为提笔作文的第一步。在具体做法上,要注意以下几点:
1. 仔细观察画面的近景和远景,弄清它们反映了什么,与画面上的人物有何联系。
2. 仔细观察远近人物的动作状态,弄清他们在干什么。
3. 要注意观察背景和人物的主次;对于主要背景和主要人物要重点描写,对于次要
背景和次要人物,除了能衬托主题可以略写一、二以外,都可以不写。千万不
要"看见什么写什么",从而写出"什么都有,什么都不重要"的"大杂烩"文章来。
4. 围绕着主要背景和主要人物,展开具体、生动的细节描写,使文章的意境真实生
动,主人公有血有肉。合情合理地开拓你的思路,舒展你"想象"的翅膀。要使静
的画面在读者面前动起来, 就靠你的"想象能力"和"表达能力"。譬如说,人在
说什么、做什么或想什么; 事情的开始、发展和结束是怎么样的……等。这一
切都是你要去想象和表达的。
5. 抓住重点,揭示图画的中心含义。你的笔墨着点,你的一切描绘,都必须围绕你
所要阐述的主题思想,使读者明白你写文章的意图。如果,你能把事情发展的前
因后果再交待清楚,做到层次分明、条理清晰、主题突出,就必然会吸引读者、
感染读者,使读者观文似见情,犹如身临其境一般。
6. 可以采取"化零为整"的做法,先把整个画面里该写的内容用单句逐一写下来,然
后把这些单句自然的连接起来,至于怎么样连法和需要添加哪些词语,由你根据
所要表达的中心思想来确定。如果，你能正确掌握运用这种方法，就可以"化
难为易",不至于望图兴叹、无从着手了。
“应用写话”有通知、告示、便条、演讲、日记和书信等。不同的应用文有不同的书写格式。在写应用文的时候，我们一定要注意它们的区别。
1. 通知：写“通知”要注意把通知的对象和内容写清楚。例如要通知一次报告
会；你就应该写明哪些对象可以参加听报告，还要写上报告的时间与地
点和由谁来作报告等……。通知的对象应该写在左上方。
2. 告示：“告示”的内容写法与“通知”的内容写法基本上雷同，所不同的是
“通知”有具体的对象，而“告示”没有具体的对象。
3. 便条：“便条”一般是在认识的人之间使用的，形式要求通常不高。为了使对
方能知道你的身份和写便条的目的，你应该在“便条”的后面署名，
并把意思表达清楚。此外，在便条的左上方写上有礼貌的称呼也是必
不可少的。
4. 演讲：在开始演讲时，演讲者必须对听众们进行礼节性的问候。一般可用
“Dear friends,”“Ladies and gentlemen,”等问候语作为“演讲”
的开场白。为了使听众们对你的演讲感兴趣，你的演讲稿必须语句精
练、中心突出、主题鲜明。在非庄严的场合中，演讲者还可以在语句中
略带些诙谐，这会使会场气氛更加活跃生动。有时候，演讲者的幽默感
往往会得到听众们的青睐和欢迎，收到意想不到的效果。
5. 日记：坚持用英语写日记是学习英语、提高英语表达能力的好方法。“日记”
的第一行应该注明日期和天气，可以写在左上方，也可以写在右上方。
日记往往是遇事有感而写的，记叙的情节应该有值得思念和回忆的价
值。由于所记之事已经过去，因此动词通常都用一般过去时。
6. 书信：写信必须注意“书信”的格式；“地址”和“日期”要写在右上方。接
着在左上方写上收信人的称呼，然后就着手写信的内容。最后，在右下
方署名前可以写象“Sincerely yours,”之类的常用词语。

可以在计算机上打，是可以查一般语法，拼写错误的。还可以找同义词。许多句子还有提示的。你可以自己在机器上做一次，然后教孩子们吗。
每天教的时候给孩子些潜点的东西读，让他们照着写，改写都好。即使是抄别人的，也是练习了。如果他们觉得自己有进步，兴趣就会提高了。(这英文类似爬楼梯，如果功夫不到，是上不去一阶的呀)
