内蒙古自治区文物保护单位。位于呼和浩特市玉泉区西五十家街巧尔齐召巷18号。1925年初，中共北方局派吉雅泰在归绥巧尔齐召内建立了中共绥远工作委员会。该处表面上挂着国民党省党部的牌子，实际上是中国共产党在开展工作。遗址为一坐西向东的四合院，乌兰夫、多松年、吉雅泰、杨植霖等都在此居住和工作过。在工委掩护下，归绥、包头、察哈尔、热河等地的党组织，常于召内正殿后楼上举行会议。1927年四一二反革命政变后，中共党组织转入地下，工委活动地点由此转移别处。&

&&&&大昭寺是由明代蒙古土默特部落的首领阿拉坦汗于明万历七年（1579年）主持创建的。明廷赐名 “弘慈寺”。清代后改称“无量寺”。因寺内供有一尊高2.5米的纯银佛像，故又有“银佛寺 蒙古语称“伊克召”，伊克，意为“大”，故称“大召”，汉名“弘慈寺”、“无量寺”。寺内供奉佛像龙牌、康熙宝座和经卷等，其中释迦牟尼银像、《月明楼》古画、藏文《甘珠尔经》是极珍贵的文物。

　　据载，土默特部阿拉坦汗在兴建美岱召后不久，便决定另建第二座城寺，在明朝宫廷的支持下，万历七年(公元1579年)正式动工兴建。新建的城寺将城与寺分开，寺在城南的路西，第二年即告落成，城在又一年以后才告竣工。明廷赐寺名为弘慈寺，即现在的大召寺，城名为归化城，即呼和浩特市旧城。大召建成，由于召中供奉银制释迦牟尼像，所以当时也称为银佛寺。万历十四年(公元1586年)，僧格杜棱汗邀请达赖三世来呼和浩特。达赖三世在土默特部盛大的欢迎仪式中，自鄂尔多斯进入呼和浩特，主持了弘慈寺银佛的“开光”法会。从此大召在当时漠南蒙古成为有名的寺院，也是呼和浩特最大的寺院。大召寺在历史上具有重大影响。明熹宗天启七年(公元1627年)，史籍记载林丹汗“克归化城、夺银佛寺”。大召能与城并提，可见它在漠南影响之大。清太宗皇太极率领军队追击林丹汗至呼和浩特，命令部下在城中纵火，“只剩银佛寺等庙宇未毁”，这也说明了大召很有声望。后清太宗皇太极又命土默特都统重修大召，重修后改弘慈寺为无量寺，这便是今天大召寺汉名无量寺的起源。

　　大召寺的宗教文物众多，其中银佛、龙雕、壁画堪称“大召三绝”。清代康熙年间，主佛殿加供了皇帝万发金牌，并将殿顶改换成琉璃瓦，大召遂成“帝庙”。大召是明清时期蒙古地区最早建立的喇嘛教寺庙，是呼市内最大的黄教寺庙，也是蒙古少有的不设活佛的寺庙。因康熙皇帝曾在此住过几日，为了表示对皇帝的尊敬，僧侣们取消了活佛的转世规定。

&&&&清代，大昭寺的法定喇嘛为80人，后超编到187人。大昭寺占地面积3万平方米，建筑特点为“伽蓝七堂式”，分五重∶山门、天王殿、佛提过殿、大雄宝殿、藏经楼，西跨院：汉白玉吉祥八塔、天王殿、乃春庙、藏经阁，东跨院：天王殿、千手观音殿、玉佛殿。大召寺的建筑物现存有山门、过殿、经堂、九间楼及佛殿等。

　　大召寺名声显赫，其周围经济异常的繁荣。旧时，在大召前街和大召东夹道，是一处小市场和民间游乐场，终日游人如织，热闹繁华，犹如北京的天桥。正像清代诗人王循在其《归化城》诗中描写的那样，“小部梨园同上国，千家闹市入丰年”。而驰名中外的大盛魁等旅蒙商号的兴起，更使这里成为商贾云集的商贸重镇。然而，随着时光的流逝，在岁月剥蚀中大召寺一带逐渐失去了其往日的辉煌。尤其是近代随着青城政治、经济等中心的东移，以及旧的传统观念的延续与历史文化资源维护的不足，大召寺被临街密密麻麻的低档商铺所包围。 2006年4月，呼和浩特市委、市政府将其列为自治区成立60周年城市建设重点献礼项目。仅用了一个月的时间，就完成了对大南街以西、大召及通顺街以南、鄂尔多斯大街以北30万平方米区域的整顿，大昭寺现如今又恢复了往日的雄姿。

身体为青色的是南方增长天王，他的梵文原名叫“毗琉璃”，意思是“增长”，他能使人的善根增长，由于善根的增长需要智慧，而宝剑在佛教中象征智慧锐利，所以他手持宝剑以为象征；

身体为红色的是西方广目天王，他的梵文名称叫“毗留博叉”，意思是“广目”，由于他率领着龙众，所以手中缠绕着一条紫金龙；托塔天王，名靖，历史上却有其人。他是人，是唐初名将，时任兵部尚书，因为他战功显赫，故死后封为「卫国公」，又因死后经常显灵，为百姓救危解厄，百姓为其建庙供奉，于是道晚唐时候，李靖渐渐被神化了。
在《封神演义》中，托塔李天王是陈塘关的总兵，生子哪咤，因，李靖为息事宁人，逼哪咤自杀。哪咤死后，以莲花复生，寻李靖复仇，李靖不敌，幸遇赠玲珑宝塔，将哪咤罩在塔内，而被熊熊的佛光所摄。李靖有此宝塔，便成为托塔李天王。

曾记得南昌起义的枪声
忘不了万里长征的艰难险阻
太行山记着八年抗日战争的烽火
