本标准规定了凝胶过滤色谱法(GFC)测定聚合物类水处理剂的分子量及其分布的方法和试验条件。
本标准适用于测定水处理剂中水溶性聚合物阻垢分散剂的相对平均分子量及分子量分布。本标准适用于测定分子量分布范围在100~30000内的聚合物类水处理剂。
本标准不适用于与流动相、分离材料发生反应、吸收、吸附等相互作用的水溶性聚合物。
