Maternity clothes
What is everyone doing for maternity clothes? This is my 3rd pregnancy and I refuse to buy maternity clothes because they are expensive and temporary am I then only one?

I bought very little, but I have 3 sisters all that were pregnant last year so if I need to I can get some from them.

I had given my sister all my maternity clothes, but luckily she saved it so she gave it back to me. I had so much maternity clothes from my previous pregnancy so I got luck she didn't give it away. Before I knew she still had it I didn't plan on buying a lot of clothes, mostly a couple of jeans. I have found them useful for post-partum since I usually stay very fat :(

My last pregnancy I had given all of my maternity clothes to a friend. I decided that since I will be showing mostly in the dead heat of the summer, that I will mostly wear maxi dresses, and tights with longer shirts, but I did buy a couple pair of maternity pants and capri pants.

I've been buying mine on ebay.&&I like the boho style so I had a lot of longer tunic type tops which work well and then since maternity clothes are so temporary ebay has lots of decent stuff for really cheap.&&I also check out my thrift store and sometimes find something good.&&I found a pair of Lucky maternity jeans for $4 last week.

Considering I outgrew everything but my socks lol and I don't know any recently preggo women, not buying maternity clothes wasn't an option. At home I sort of tough it out in sweats and sundresses when it's warmer, but I definitely needed some professional clothes for work. I have a pretty limited selection but I've picked up pants at thrift stores, an occasional top at places like Marshall's or Ross, and my family and friends have bought me a couple of cute things. I bought some long tank tops from Target. Overall I've spent maybe $100-$150 and that's about all I'm willing to spend.

I have been in maternity jeans since I was 7 weeks as I blotted alot I brought 4 pairs all different types and im still in them now at 25 weeks xxxx as for tops I have just brought the next sizes up there is a nearly 8 year gap between my youngest girl and my lil man so I had kept nothing so totally had to start all over xxxx

I bought a few maxi dresses... they work well and can still be worn after the baby. I hate buying maternity too...so I just bought one pair of pants.

None of my shirts are fitting so ive had to buy some. But im just getting two sizes bigger instead of maternity. My pants are starting to get tight so I'll have to do something bout that. I have a couple pairs of hippy pants I wear at home. It takes me half n hour to get dressed to go the shops cause I feel ugly in everything :-/ But I dont have much money to spend on clothes.

i bought a good pair of jeans that i have to fold up the bottoms into capris. im six foot tall so its hard to find normal jeans that fit, much harder to find maternity jeans that fit. luckily, during the colder weather, i didnt need anything more than a bella band. i swear by that thing. and i live in NC so it doesnt stay very cold long. shirts, im starting to grow out of so i shop on craigs list and amazon. i even found some cute shirts at a thrift store. def plan on investing in some cute dresses. just cant justify spending tons of money on clothes for me that i wont wear long when i could be spending that money on my little girl. sooo much more fun shopping for her!!

I got a maternity belt to hold up my jeans and a few XL shirts to hold me off till its warm, then its summer dresses til I jace him in June. I look at it this way, I can wear them after the baby too

I bought a couple pairs of pants and a couple cute shirts, but 75% came from a friend and my sister in law. It gets really expensive. But I had to buy pants because it hurt my belly to wear my regular jeans with a band to keep them up.

My first but I refuse to go crazy buying something I only going to wear for a couple of months. So far I spend under $150 on maternity clothes, mostly jeans and legging, finally gave in and brought a dress on sale the other day.
Since the baby doll and empire wrist outfits were in style the last couple of years, I already go a few pieces of loose top and dress that looks like maternity clothes anyway. So with a couple of pair of maternity jeans, I'm good to go. Got my jeans on sale too, from gap and old navy, $20-$25 a pop plus free shipping. Can't beat that :)

I did the same...I only braught one pair of maternity pants everything else are maxie dresses I've got from family dollar or city trends. Out in the south it gets very hot and sticky.

This is my third as well..and Ii don't buy brand new maternity clothes either..too expensive..I do a lot of second hand shoppin and find a lot of name brand maternity clothes and pay hardly anything for them. Thts how I get mine otherwise I just buy regular clothes a lil big and tht seems to work too:))
