&&长期以来，英语在中国教育是十分重要的一部分。之前在高考中，英语和语文与数学一样，满分都为150分。近几年，国家着手英语改革以来，各界一直议论纷纷。有些家长认为此次英语高考改革表明英语的重要性正在减弱，以后不想让孩子从事和英语相关的职业，认为英语已经不吃香了；有些孩子担心以后无法适应新型的英语教学与考查方式，并且对英语的学习积极性下降，不重视英语；有些高考毕业准备选专业的学生尽量避免选择和英语有关的专业；有些步入社会的年轻人害怕大学学的是英语没前途找不到工作。
&&&然而我在报志愿时毫不犹豫地选择了我最热爱的师范英语专业，因为在我看来，学英语并不会没出路。
&&英语在当今社会的地位也没有丝毫下降的迹象。英语仍然是世界上最主要的用用语言，国际上70%以上的邮件是用英文写。或许你认为自己并不会在工作中接触太多英语，但是随着国际全球化的日益发展，中国越来越国际化，与外国又更多的交流，其中包括经济、政治、文化、教育、科技、医疗等等各个领域，而一个国际化的公司一定少不了能够熟练灵活运用英语来进行沟通的工作人员。
&&有人说，作为一个中国人，花那么多精力学习一门其他国家的语言完全没必要，他们甚至认为这威胁到了汉语的地位。但是，请试想一下，如果我们中国人不把英语学好，我们要怎么向外国人介绍我们中国的文化呢？我们要用哪种语言哪种方式来让他们感受中国文化的魅力所在呢？在国家大力进行文化生产力、建设文化强国的今天，我们需要大批更加专业更加优秀的英语人才帮助国家提高文化软实力，将中国推向世界。
&&&况且，作为一名未来的英语教师，我也深知以后的英语教学会随着改革不断优化。之前的英语教学较注重语法、词汇、句型的标准化，要求学生在书面考试上取得好成绩，但是我们真正需要的不仅仅是能在阅读理解、完形填空题中拿高分的学生，我们还需要能够在现实生活中敢于并且善于用英语口语来表达自己、达到沟通目的的学生。这才是高考英语改革的出发点。
&&&因此，我认为，高考改革并非国家对英语的重视程度下降，而是国家意识到了提高学生英语实用能力的重要性。之前的英语教学确实是受到了很大重视，可是从实际来看，尽管有许多学生能在英语考试中取得高分，但是交流能力并不理想，而我们需要的是用英语来和外国人交流的人才。高考英语改革在一定程度上将推动学生的灵活应用英语的能力，让学习英语的学生们能够真正活学活用。
&&&我相信，未来会有越来越多的孩子大声说出英语、自信地用英语进行交流，从而向世界展现中国的文化，促进中国在经济全球化中的不断发展！​
