We really didn't know what to expect (maybe a big bus full of other tourists??) We were thrilled when a young woman showed up in a Mercedes van and told us one other person would be joining us. The tour guide was great! She spoke English very well, and provided just enough information about each attraction (not too much, not too little). She took us to awesome sites and told us the history, then gave us time to explore on our own. She even went out of her way to let us stop at a small shop in Avignon that we really wanted to go to.
